Chapter 23

I woke up to Next 2 You by Chris Brown/Justin Bieber.  It was my ringtone, for Jeydon.  Actually, he's the one that picked it out... but I didn't tell him Justin was apart of it.  Anyways, he was calling me and I let it go to voicemail because I didn't want to talk.  So, when I heard that "DING!" that meant I had a new voicemail, I listened right away.
"Hey Lily, I um kinda did something that I know you'll get mad at, so when you get this, please call me back and try to stay calm.  Alright then um talk to you later baby."
Hmmmph.  What is my reaction supposed to be??  I mean, if he knows I'm going to get mad, that means he did something really bad. Crap.  I'm calling him back.
"Hey cupcake." He said in a not so confident voice.
"Don't sweet talk me when you know why I called.  What's this big thing that I'll get mad at you for?"
"Ummmmmmmmm," he was hesitating.
"Ummmm what? Tell me now!" God do I hate waiting.
"I told my mom about us..."
"YOU DID WHAT?!?!?!?!?!"
"Well, my mom was freaking out, she thought I was doing drugs and getting laid,  so I had to tell her.  She's fine with it but she wants to meet you.  She's also ok with the fact that you are keeping us a secret from your family."
"*sigh* ok fine.  But I don't think she'll like me."
"Why?"
"Idk I just don't think she will."
"Baby, I like you.  If she doesn't like you....ha! Nevermind that, she's going to like you.  Who wouldn't like a fricken gorgeous, funny, down-to-earth girl that just so happens to be mine?"  Ok, I'm blushing.  I mean, that was the sweetest thing anybody has ever said to me.
"Ok, whatever you say sweetie.  We'll set the date later.  I think my mom's home and I don't want her to know I still have my phone."
"Awww ok.  Like you babes."
"Like you too."  And with that, we hung up.

Chapter 22

When Jeydon was out of sight, i slowly walked up the pathway to my house and quietly opened the door. when my mom saw me I quickly ran to my room and locked the door.
"LILY CHRISTINE ANDERSON YOU BETTER GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE THIS MOMENT!!!!!!" My mother screamed while rudely banging on my door.
"Mmk, I'll be out in a minute." I replied with my lovely attitudeish voice.
"NO! NOW!"
"Alright, alright. Calm yo tits" So, I made sure my coverup clearly covered up the injury and slowly opened the doorto see a hideous monster in my view.
"ExCUSE me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Calm yo tits??? You better realize who you are talking to young lady!" I let ut a little giggle because well, you gotta admit, that was freakin HILARIOUS!!!!!!
"Mhmmm whatever. You wanted to see me??"
"Yes, where were you??"
"Out."
"Out where?"
I could tell she was trying to be calm, but her anger was about to burst.
"Places with scenery. Places that aren't around here. Places that you will never know no matter what."
"Violet would know."
"No she would not. She went home, remeber? I told you that."
"Oh yea. So you were all by yourself?"
"Sure."
"What's taht suppose to mean???"
"Nothing, I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Goodnight."
"Wait Lily!!!!"
And with that I shut my door and fell asleep.

Chapter 21

*Jeydon’s conversation with his mom*
Jeydon: Hello?
Mom:Where in the world are you?
Jeydon: Out
Mom:And where exactly is out?
Jeydon:Uhhhhhh at Walgreens
Mom:Jeydon, it’s 5 in the morning, it’s really mucky out, and WAlgreens is like 45 minutes away from our house…you really want me to think that your at Walgreens?
Jeydon:I was hungry and there is no good crap at our house, so I went to Walgreens and grabbed myself some snacks…in fact, I was just on my way home when you called.
Mom:And what about Skylar?
Jeydon:Well umm he was feeling sick so I dropped him off before I went to Walgreens.
Mom:Oh, ok…well do you want me to come pick you up?
Jeydon:No, that won’t be necessary, I’ll walk.  Besides, I need the exercise for football.  See you in about an hour or more.  Bye
Mom:I love you.
Jeydon:Goodbye mom.
*Lily’s conversation with her mom*
Lily:Hello mother.
Mom:Lily? LILY?!?!?! Oh my god thank goodness your ok.
Lily:Yes mom, I’m fine.  I didn’t run away or anything…I just wanted some fresh air.
Mom: It’s five o’ clock in the morning and I don’t know how long you’ve been out! And what about Violet?
Lily:I’ve been out since like 3 because I couldn’t fall asleep and wanted to be away from the house and umm I dropped Violet back off at home because she was getting sick.
Mom:Well where are you? I want to come and pick you up.
Lily:Umm no I have feet I can walk…I’ll be home in like 45 minutes.
Mom:Tell me where you are now Lily.
Lily:See you soon mom.  Goodbye
Mom:LIL-
*click*
“So, ummm I gotta get home in like an hour and first gotta get to Walgreens and buy some snacks but I have no money.”  Jeydon kinda, for some reason, shyly said.
“Oh don’t worry, I got some cash, and I told my mom I’ll be home in like 45 minutes soo we’ll be fine since Walgreens is only 10 minutes away from my house and I dont want to see my mom”
“Are you sure?”
“Yea, because I also need to find pain medicine for my eye and makeup to cover it.”
Then he came closer to me and I leaned my head into his wet, messy, warm chest and he just swayed me back in forth, and I almost fell asleep.  After a while he stopped, took my hand, and started walking.  When we got to Walgreens, I gave him $10 and he bought a dr.pepper and hot cheetos.  I bought some Extra Strength Tylonol and some coverup.   On the way way to my house, Jeydon stopped a block away, looked me in the eyes and gave me a nice long kiss.  Then whispered goodbye to me then started to walk to his house.  I could’ve been the most happpiest girl alive until I walked into my house.

Chapter 20

“Well that was…fun?” I said while me and Jeydon with hands intertwined, were walking home. “Haha yea, I guess you could say that. I’m sorry about Skylar back there.  He never acted like this before.”
“It’s Violet, whenever she gets a boyfriend, she like controls them or something.  Like I don’t know how, but like if someone will yell at her or call her something, even if it’s just playing around and the boyfriend doesn’t do something about it, she gets real pissed off. I think Skylar heard about that and so of course, protected her.”
“Oh, well ummm yea.”
So, it was silent for a few minutes and I enjoyed it, until, my phone rang.
“Bitch get your ass back here we weren’t done talking to you whores.”
“Ummmm, excuse me?  I’m not the one controlling my boyfriend around, MY boyfriend allowed to do whatever he wants, it was his own mind that wanted to protect me.”
“I do NOT control Skylar!”
“Really??  Cuz Jeydon just told me that he never acts like that, with any of his girlfriends.”
“Bitch, come get your slutty ass over here.”
“Goodbye Violet.”
And I hung up the phone.  I really wanted to cry because I just lost my best friend for good but I didn’t want to cry in front of Jeydon.  But obviously it didn’t work because I guess Jeydon saw how mad/sad I looked.
“Babe, are you ok?”
I shook my head very slowly.
“Come here.”
And he dragged us over to a bench and let me lay my head on his shoulder and I cried and cried and cried till I had no more water in my tear glands.
“Hey,” and he lifted my chin up and I saw him smile “everything’s gunna be ok” And he gently placed his lips on mine and I and I forgot about everything.
“I need to get home, it looks like it’s gunna rain and I don’t want either of us to get in trouble.”
“Alright, lets go.”
As I guessed, like3 blocks away from home, it started to rain.  But it was a lot of fun.  Jeydon and I were jumping in puddles, throwing mud at each other and just having a blast, until like they knew we were out with each other, both our moms called.

Chapter 19

It was silent for a few minutes and all you could hear was crickets.
“Answer my question, why are you here?”  Violet said in might I say, a VERY angry tone.
“Jeydon wanted me to come just to hangout.”  I say in a very calm, gentle, voice.
“I wasn’t talking to you bitch, I was talking to the dick you call your boyfriend, but that answer works too.”  Violet was really getting me pissed off, I mean, I understand the whole punch-in-the-face thing, but calling me a bitch and Jeydon a dick is going a little too far!
“Hey, hey, hey, I understand the whole dick thing, but don’t go calling my girl a bitch, I think you already did enough when you punched her face and left her with a black eye.”  This is exactly why I’m dating Jeydon…he can protect me AND says exactly whats on my mind.
“Shut the hell up!  GOD! You guys are pissing me off!”
“We’re pissing YOU off?!?!? Please! YOU’RE the one who got me pissed off enough to actually cheat on him, YOU’RE the one who punched me in the face, and YOU’RE the one who called me a bitch! You’re the one who’s pissed off?!?!?  Please.  Why are you even here anyways?”  I exploded god this bitch gets me mad.
“I told her too…”  So Skylar finally speaks, but not good words.
“What?!?!?!?!!?”  Me and Jeydon say at the same time.
“I thought if she came, not only would I get to see that beautiful figure, BUT Lilly and her could work this thing out.”  What. A. Dumbass.
“And did that work out for you, buddy pal?”  Jeydon told him
“You know, you don’t have to be a dick, I’m sorry I didn’t think it would turn out like this because they are like best friends, but whatever.  And, I actually am on Violet’s side because what you did was just wrong and I would never think you would do that.  Lilly’s just a slut for agreeing with cheating on her “best friend.”“  What the heck?!?!?  Did Skylar just call me a slut?  I was about to cry.  No one’s EVER called me that before in my life, and let me tell you, it did NOT feel good.
Well, I guess that made Jeydon mad too because next thing I know, Jeydon walked over to Jeydon punched him right in the nose, causing Skylar to get a nose bleed.
“God, I’ve actually wanted to do that for a long time, but I held it in, but calling my girl a slut, you don’t ever say that again! Now apologize or else!”
He resented for a few seconds, then Violet said something in his ear, then said sorry to me.
“Good, now lets get away from these people babe.  I’ll walk you home.”
Well, thank god I’m going home.

Chapter 18

So, Jeydon excited to see me, ran up to me.
“Hey baby…oh my gosh what happened to your face?!?!?!? Who did it I will  beat them down.”
“Don’t.  It was Violet.  Anyway, why did you want me to come here?”
“Just to hang with you.  I missed you.”  I never thought that Jeydon, would ever would be like this but I liked it.  It’s like I’m in this big dream and I don’t wanna wake up.
And then, he kissed me. I love it when he surprise kisses me (:
“Then why is Skylar here?”
“Oh, yea, forgot about him.  I had to take him with me because apparently it’s rude to leave a guest at the house when you’re gunna go somewhere.”
“YEA!  Jeydon just told me, that he was gunna go to the park to see you and then he said bye! Like What the heck?!?!?!?!? And I told him if he didn’t bring me I would wake his mom up. And well um, I’m here.” Skylar explained.  I started cracking up! But inbetween every laugh, there was an “ow” because laughing made my face hurt from the punch.
“Did my babe seriously do that to you?” Skylar asked
“Yea, but don’t worry about it, I deserved it.”
“Who the hell deserves to get punched?!?!?!”  I think Skylar’s being a little to protective over this…
“Seriously, don’t worry about it, I told her she could because I knew she was really mad at me and I knew it would make her feel a little better.”
“That’s not ok for her to punch you!”
“Dude! You’re being a little too overprotective over MY girlfriend!  She said don’t worry!  I’m sorry man for exploding like that but you’re acting like she’s yours and it’s annoying me because she’s mine!”
Thank god I have Jeydon!!!  He said what I would’ve said…kindof.  But I gotta admit, that whole “she’s mine thing, mad me blush BIG TIME! But I didn’t care because it was sorta sweet.  And just as Skylar was about to say something, we all saw Violet, and she saw us, and she stopped.
“What are all you guys doing here?”

Chapter 17

“How could you???” Violet asked in a may I say, a very harsh voice it almost made me cry.
“Well I was mad…YOU TOOK THE GUY OF MY DREAMS and He asked me out!!!”
“I DONT GIVE A F*** WHO ASKED WHO OUT!!!! YOU SAID YES!!!!” She was actually really mad…she NEVER used the f word before…hell, she never swears!!! I was getting really scared. Ok I admit I’ve only known her for a short while but she told me she’s never swore before in her life…the only “bad words” (according to her mom) that she uses are ass, and crap. So I was getting really freaked out. So, I calmed down my voice and spoke.
“Look Vio, (my nickname for her…she calls me lil’s) I’m sorry I mow what I did was wrong but I was just really angry, I understand if you don’t wanna talk to me or see my face ever again. Here I’ll even let you slap me on my face.”
But, she did more then slap, she punched my face, grabbed her stuff then left leaving me in pain. And this girl had an arm so it hurt like nothing I ever felt before. Then, I got a phone call from Jeydon.
“Hey baby”
“Hey Jeydon. “
“What’s wrong and don’t tell me nothing because I won’t buy that shit.”
“I told Violet that you cheated on her with me and then she got mad and left.”
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!”
“Its ok I guess.”
“Hey do you think you could go to the park?”
“right now?”
“mhmmm”
“Jeydon, it’s almost 10!”
“so??”
“why???”
“cuz”
“cuz why?”
“Are you going to come or not?”
“Fine, bye”
“Bye sweet cheeks”
So with that, I was gone, I grabbed my jacket, fixed my hair a little, but when I tried to put some makeup on, it stung, then I realized that I was getting a black eye on my right eye. Damn it hurt but I deserved it. Then, I snuck out. 1) im not allowed to have a boyfriend, 2) I’m not allowed to be out after 9. So, I got o the park and Jeydon and Skylar were there. Oh boy.

Chapter 16

*At Lilly’s house*
“OMG, Jeydon said the best thing ever today!!!”  I was telling Violet while getting comfortable on my bed.”
“Really?? What did he say??”  Violet almost yelled.
“He was just being soo sweet.  Telling me that I was beautiful, and he would never hurt me and he would die for me.  And then he twirled me around the room and kissed me!”
“Awww that’s soo sweet! Skylar was kinda cute today.  We went to lunch today and we got to know each other some more.  Then, he told me that I was pretty and I have an amazing personality.  And then, I think he tried to kiss me but then jus a second before, his friend just magically showed up.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, but it will happen, I promise. But you and Skylar already kissed right?
“Yea, ut that was just revenge.”
” O, ok.  So, did you honestly never like Skylar and always like Jeydon?”
Well I liked Skylar at first, but then you said all those things about Jeydon which got me starting to like him and so I just blocked Skylar out and just the other day I was thinking why I like Jeydon and it was only because YOU said that stuff.  Then I found out I actually like Skylar more! And then I felt bad about dating Jeydon.”
“Ok, if I tell you something will you promise not to be mad?”
“Ummmmmm…..hopefully.  Depends. Try me.”
Ok, When you and Jeydon were going out, he cheated on you with me…..”
“WHAT?!??!?!?!?!?!?!”

Chapter 15

“Hey, can you tell me why you like me, if you liked Violet before me?” I asked Jeydon.
“Well, I was thinking it over and I only liked Violet because she was pretty.  I like you because you’re gorgeous, flawless, perfect, amazing, the best personality I’ve ever seen, and you’re not afraid to be yourself around anyone.  You are the best thing that ever landed on this earth and I would do anything for you.  And I mean anything.  I would die for you, and I would cry for you, so please, just please, don’t go breaking my heart.”
That’s one of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard come out of a guys mouth that wasn’t an actor and I almost wanted to cry.  And then, he asked me something.
“Since i just spilled my heart out on why I like you, why do you like me?”
Oh no, bad bad bad question!  You see, he just told me he thinks I’m beautiful, but I think he’s absolutely ugly.  Should I lie and say he’s cute?  But I do like his eyes and other stuff.
“I like you because whenever you look at me with those green eyes I start to melt. You have muscles, your not a jerk like every other guy I know, your tiptoe height, you’re just way to amazing and I’m lucky to have got you as mine.  And I’ll admit you are kind-of ugly but I’m not shallow like that.  I’ve heard what the girls think about you and whenever those shallow chicks always talking crap when they don’t even know you I wanted to punch them straight in the face.  I would never break your heart because I would be killing myself at the same time.”
And then, he grabbed me pulled me closer to him lifted me twirled me around, and kissed me, of course, I kissed back and it was the best day ever.

Chapter 14

“OMG I have to tell you sonething.” Violet, Jeydon, Skylar, and Me seem to say all around the same time.

“You first.” I tell Violet.
“Ok, date Jeydon, I’m breaking up with him because I realized I only iked him because you liked him and I actually do like Skylar! And I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I liked him than went out with him and lied to you. I love you and I’m sorry I hurt you. Forgive me?”

“Wow, umm yes I do! But I was gunna say date him if you really liked him that much but umm ok then thanks I love you too, and sorry for kissing him right infront of your fae.”

I just decided not to tell her about the whole cheating thing because I don’t want to hurt her.

“Ok, you go first.” Skylar told Jeydon

“Ok. Well, I know you liked Lilly and I’m sorry I kissed her even though I promised not to. And I’m also sorry because I really like Lilly, she’s just the girl I’m looking for so, for you, I won’t date her, but I’ll still like her.”

“NO NO NO! date her!!! I only liked her because she was Violet’s best friend. Violets the girl for me. So, I’m going to ask her out and we’ll all be happy. Also, in the practice, we actually did kiss, but it was just a second because we didn’t really know, we were just bored. But she’s a good kisser.”

Everybody:
“YES!!!!!!”

Chapter 13

What am I doing?? Cheating on the girl that I’ve liked ever since the beginning of the year, and with my best freind’s crush!
WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I need to break up with Jeydon because the only reason why I started to date him was for revenge and I only really liked him because Lilly did.

I actually have a right to be mad right? i mean he promised not to like Lilly and then he kissed her, but can I really be mad that he likes someone?

Chapter 12

After my little pity party, It was revenge time.
So she wants to play like that?
Hmm ok.
The first thing that came to mind was going out with Skylar but SHE DOESN’T LIKE Skylar!
Then, I ran into Jeydon.
“Oh, um hi.”
“Hello, so now your dating Violet?”
“You figured it out?”
“SHE TOLD ME!”
“Oh um you wanna get back at her?”
“BIG TIME!”
“You want to be my other girlfriend?”
“Yea!”
“Mmk, meet me for play practice, DON’T QUIT!”
“Mmk see you then babe ;)”
So, at play, we did practice and after, before we had to get out of the practice room, we practiced something else….kissing.
“Wait have you kissed Violet yet?”
“Yea, but it’s icky, yours is the best.”
“Oh, mmk now shush, one more quick kiss and we have to get back to full rehearsal. “
“Alrighty!”
And so we kissed, and when we got back to the auditorium, Violet and Skylar looked a LOT closer! Hmmm, I’m not the only one that’s getting kissed, I thought, BUT I’m mad at her so I will never find out. At least I got Jeydon who thinks I’m a good kisser and Violet’s not.

After school today, I got Jeydon’s number and we text for hours! I deleted Violet’s number and added a few more friends I’ve gotten closer too. Normally, I don’t text or watever but this gives me a reason to actually carry my cell phone around now. Well its night night time for me. Can’t wait till tomorrow…

Chapter 11

“You little cootie queen!” I told her because I couldn’t say anything bad.
“You’re calling me a cootie queen? You’re the one who kissed him twice!” She did have a point though.
“But I didn’t keep a secret from my best friend!”
“Well when were you planning on telling me?”
“Ummm, we promised not to tell anyone because of Skylar.”
“REALLY?!?! So much for being best friends and not having secrets!”
“We weren’t gunna hurt yours AND Skylar’s feelings because you like him but he likes me! So I didn’t want you to get hurt. But you on the other hand, just decided not to tell me that you actually liked Jeydon and NOT Skylar so yea that’s why I didn’t tell you!”
“WHATEVER! Oh yea and By the way, me and Jeydon are now going out! Stick that in your juice box and suck it!”
So, now not only have I lost my bestest friend ever since kindergarten, I lost control of myself and ran as fast as i could to the bathroom and yet again, cried myself to sleep.

Chapter 10

So now, the kiss felt bitter and hateful because I know it was only for revenge so I pulled back and ran as fast as I could home hoping to get some quiet so I can cry my heart out and just have some time to myself to think. But what do you know, when I get home, my mom and dad are in yet again another fight. And now, my dad got caught cheating….great.

So, I grab a big bag of Hot Cheetos, the rest of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and soda, grabbed my iPod, and ran to my room as fast as I could.

I blasted my iPod in my ears, ate everything, cried until there was no more tear ducts left in me and when I almost fell asleep there was a knock on my door. It was my brother, Ryan and knew that something must have been wrong with me because normally Violet(trader) was over and we would be laughing and giggling. So, knowing I can trust him I told him the story and he just left. That’s it. Such a nice brother right???? So I finally went to sleep.

And what could be more worse then waking up 10 minuets before I had to be at school? Absolutely nothing. So, I didn’t do my hair, threw some sweats on with a plain tee, quick brushed my teeth, put some water on my face and left. My hair is a mess and I’m hungry. So when I go to school who’s the first person I see but the liar,Violet.

I felt like slapping her so, I did and she slapped back and so I tackled her. Then, a whole bunch of guys watched and posted it on Youtube…just great. So after, I had to go to the stupid office with her and “express our feelings”

So I did.

Chapter 9

And then I automatically new with just a glance. Long blonde beautiful hair, the perfect style sense, every boys dream girl,and don’t forget the best gossiper in the school, it has to be Lucy Smith. She hears one thing, and the whole school is informed in seconds. Literally. So, knowing she found all this out, not knowing how long she has been there is NOT a good thing.

Apparently, Jeydon also saw her because we both stood straight to our feet and ran as fast as we could to stop her. Unfortunately, we were too late. We saw her going into Violet and Skylar’s rehearsal room and by the look on Skylar’s face, he was as mad as a bull when you show a bull red. It was not pretty. And then, I saw Violets face…and she was BLUSHING!!!!!!!!! Does she like Jeydon but acted like she liked Skylar so I wouldn’t get mad??? I’m going to find out!

Well, next thing you know I’m getting dragged to the park right next to our school by Violet and she looked worried. (hmm sudden change from the girl who was just blushing after all Lucy told) And then, I suddenly became worried.

Jeydon and Skylar were about to fight, over me!

And Skylar walked right up to Jeydon and punched him straight across the face! Jeydon was going to fight back but decided against it. And Skylar just blew up.

“HOW DARE YOU KISS HER AFTER YOU KNEW I LIKED HER AND YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN’T DO ANYTHING!!!” Skylar yelled at the top of his lungs

“Well, I’m sorry but it just happened. I didn’t intend for it to happen but it did.” Jeydon said calmly to chill Skylar down.

“Umm I don’t believe that because you just go and kiss the girl your BEST FRIEND likes and think it didn’t mean to happen…I knew you liked Violet and I didn’t kiss her!”

Then, Violet blushed AGAIN!!!!

“Do you like Jeydon or something???”

“What? No! I know you like him so why would I?”

“Because you just blushed for the second time! You better tell me now!”

“Yes I do, I’ve liked him ever since you described how he is to you and I could see that in him too. And besides, he likes me anyways so it’s ok for me to blush because I actually have a chance with him while you have absolutly no chance at all!!”

“Well sorry to break it to you honey, but he kissed me, I didn’t kiss him!”

“You kissed her?!?!?!?” Skylar got all mad again.

“We kissed each other!”

“That’s not what she just said!”

“So you’re going to believe her instead of me, fine! This time I’M GOING TO KISS HER!”

And then, right there, in front of EVERYBODY he took my arm, pulled me in and kissed me.

“Wanna play like that?”

Then, Skylar took Violet and kissed her.

Chapter 8

So the kiss lasted for about 3 seconds when he pulled away.
“I can’t do this.” He blankly said.
“What?” I’m confused. He’s the one that started the flirting and now he’s pulling away?!?! Ugh! Why are guys so complicated?
“I can’t, and you can’t tell anybody about this, not even Violet!”
“Wait, your telling me that I can’t tell my BEST friend that I just had my first kiss and it was perfect AND it was with the guy I wanted it with????? Why?!?!?!?”
“Ok. I like Violet and Skylar likes you and I promised I wouldn’t start liking you and then today came and then I started liking you but now I have to stop because Skylar’s my best friend and I wouldn’t want to end our friendship.” After he said that, I knew he was serious and so I started to cry.
“Please don’t cry, I mean cummon am I like the only guy you like?? I even think I’m ugly, I think you could do better. “

And that’s when I noticed he was right beside me, no space between us.

“No, I only like you and I’ve only liked you ever since school started. And, Violet likes Skylar, not you. I’m quitting the play. The only reason why I did this was because you tried out and now that I know that you won’t go out with me, or I’ll ever have a chance with you, what’s the point of acting like I’m your girlfriend, or lover in the play and get your friend jealous??”

“I see your point, but what about Violet. What will she think when you quit??? She’ll ask you why, and I trust you enough to not tell her what happened in here so yea.”

“It’s called lying and I’m quite good at that so why are you trying to make me stay?”

“Because you are an amazing singer and actress and I don’t wanna feel guilty because I am the reason you want to quit.”

“Well??? I guess I will stay for my best friend and I love acting and I’m not letting guys ruin it for me.”

“Well ok, just pinky sware that you won’t tell anybody about what happened?”

“Fine.”

Right after that, I heard footsteps run down the hall. Someone saw us

Chapter 7

So today for rehearsals we all have to go into different groups to just learn about each other. Of course, I got to go with Jeydon and Violet and Skylar were together. So me and Jeydon actually get the last one in the corner. I find out that Jeydon’s faorite color is blue, he hates spegetti because it sounds weird, and he’s going through some difficult times with his family.
As I tell him about me I can tell he’s really listening.

“What do you look for in a girl?” I ask him
“Well, she has to be smart, not be a girly girl, love to play video games, wouldn’t be stuck up, and willing to compromise. What do you look for in a guy?”

“Well, I go for guys that won’t be obsessive over video games, is at least a little romantic, and well um not a dude that would hide me from his friends oh yea, and is great kisser.”

“So, someone like me?”

“Idk, can you kiss?”

“You tell me.”

And that’s when it happened, I got my first kiss.

Chapter 6

*Skylar and Jeydon at Jeydon’s house*
“You are sooo lucky!!!!! You got a part with Lily!”
“Skylar, you know I like Violet, not her, so really your the lucky that one that got the most flawless and most gorgeous girl in the whole school as your wife!”

“Oh my gosh! Jeydon! come here, I was looking through the script and you and Lily kiss!!! You are soooo lucky and I can already tell you that she likes you so I bet she already fainted when she looked at this script, so yea.”

“What?!?!??!?!? Well umm dude I’m sorry man but I promise, I won’t enjoy it and I’ll make it as quick as possible.”

“Sure you will, cummon I know you like her, I can tell, your just saying this because I’m here and you know I’ve liked her ever since school started”

“No i don’t I like her best freind Violet. She’s perfect man, she’s different. Her personality is just amazing. Like, she doesn’t care what other people think and she just goes with the flow, and she’s not like a total prep.”

“Well, ok I believe you, just promise me you’ll try not to like Lily?

“I swear I’ll stick to Violet.”

Chapter 5

Well, today is the day. The day we find out what part we get in the play. But first, actual school….ugh! Well I have almost every class with Jeyden and he’s kinda catching on that I like him, but watever, I just have to act better.
Finally! Time to go to theater to see who got what part in the play. OMG I GOT CINDERELLA!!!!!!! Now, I look to see who got the prince and Jeydon got it! OMG BEST NEWWS EVER! And of course, Violet is the Queen and Skylar is the King. Maybe dreams do come true and there is such a thing called happily ever after.
So after school, I get my script and as I look through it and just stop and stare..y??? Cinderella and The Prince kiss. (:

Chapter 4

It was Jeydon’s turn to go up. He sang “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars and even though I have no proof, I think he was staring at me the whole time. He isn’t that bad of a singer either. Then, he had to say his part from Cinderella. He chose the prince’s part: Has it all been for nothing? Am I searching for a dream that doesn’t truly exist? One moment we were dancing in the royal garden and the next moment she was gone. She vanished without leaving so much as a trace. If I only knew where to begin. We’ll search the Kingdom high and low. We mustn’t lose her. I’ve only just found her. You say she’s left a clue? What? A note? An address? A slipper? How did she manage to get home with only one slipper? Don’t answer that. Just find her .
He’s a good actor too! Maybe, we do have something in common:Acting
And in a week, we’ll find out our parts……

Chapter 3

So, I go upstage and first I have to sing a song. I chose the song Listen To Your Heart by Roxette. I think I did pretty well. Then, I had to say a monologue from Cinderella and so I said, “I have very little to tell you. I have little to tell because I didn’t go to the ball. Yes, my work was complete and my dress was lovely, but it was torn and thrown into the fire. My step sisters were at fault. They claimed that it was an accident. I’m sorry to disappoint you so. If I tell you a secret, do you promise not to tell a soul? Well, I did go to the ball. Shhhhh! No one must know! I arrived in a grand coach made of ivory and gold with a Coachman and a groom and four white horses! My gown was the most beautiful gown I’d ever seen. And the slippers were made of glass. It was all so wonderful. The prince? He was … Oh, he was wonderful too!” I think I did pretty well on it but you never know until they post parts right?
And when I got to my seat I smiled and looked forward but I looked in the corner in my eye, Jeydon was just staring and smiling at me.

Chapter 2

So the next day I start thinking, “how will I get to know him?” and then find out my answer.
One of my guy friends Skylar, is like best friends with him and I’ll just hangout with him more. It would be a GREAT plan IF my parents let me hangout with guys. Then, I thought just to hangout at school BUT at lunch they make guys sit with guys and girls sit with girls. Then, I thought about the auditions for the school play, “Cinderella”. I vaguely remember Violet talking about how great an actress and singer I am and how If I tryout, she’ll tryout and she ALWAYS talks to Skylar (her crush) and Skylar said Jeydon and him are trying out to. So, if I tryout, i’ll sit next to them with Violet and wait to be called on for my audition.
So today after school I sat with them waiting for my time to audition and relized me and Jeydon have absolutely nothing in common! His favorite color is Blue my favorite color is neons. His favorite sport is football my favorite is volleyball. His favorite food is pizza while my favorite food is lobster. He HATES drama and well, that’s me. And most of all, I’m a sucker for romantic, while he hates the romantic business. UGHH!!! Well maybe opposites attract. I would’ve gone on more and more on how much we are soo opposite from each other, but Mr. Smith called my name to audition.

Chapter 1

“You like him don’t you?” My best friend Violet asks me.
“How could I like a guy I hardly know?!?!?!” I told her.
“Ok just because you don’t know him doesn’t mean you don’t like him, I mean come on, you must like something about him, I mean, I’m your best friend Lily, I know when yoou you like someone. Isn’t there one thing?!!?!?”
This is why Violet’s my best friend and why I love her. She can tell stuff about me that I didn’t even know about me. She can tell me who I like and when I don’t really mean what I say. That’s also what I absolutely HATE about her! She knows when I’m lying to her so I can’t get away with anything!
” Well, he’s tall, athletic, brown hair, glasses, green eyes, oh my gosh and the way he smiles and laughs and the way he- WHAT THE HECK! NO NO NO! He’s ugly, ugly ugly! I have no interest him what-so-ever!”
“Oh. Ok, yeah you don’t like him, you just explained perfectly why a girl would like him, but no! you don’t like him at all!” Violet said with sarcasm.
“Oh shush!”
And after this, I knew I liked him, but no one’s going to know. (well except Violet) And that’s how it should be.
Oh yea, his name??? Jeydon.”
